Join us in Barcelona for World Hydrogen ProjectsAs emission reduction targets have become more ambitious and the threat of climate change has become increasingly obvious, the importance of getting clean hydrogen projects off the ground to meet these targets is intensifying. World Hydrogen Projects offers a unique opportunity to deep dive into actual case studies spanning the full spectrum of projects, from fully integrated hydrogen valleys and clusters, to decarbonising industry and mobility. The conference offers a strategic exploration into the planning and enablement of proposed and current projects, as well as bringing together the entire hydrogen ecosystem, from upstream to downstream, in order to facilitate the collaboration and innovation needed to truly kickstart the hydrogen economy. Join project stakeholders to understand what technologies are being used and why, where projects are being developed, how companies are planning a staged approach to scaling their projects, the path to securing investment and offtake revenue streams, and ultimately how different industry players can partner with developers to decarbonise their sectors. This is a strategic two-day event offering an opportunity to meet potential partners across the hydrogen value chain and overcome some of the biggest challenges with getting these projects up and running.

Why is this event important? There are more and more hydrogen projects being announced, from small scale refuelling stations for mobility, to larger grid-connected projects, to even larger scale H2 generation and export initiatives. Within Europe, the EU’s target is to have 40GW of green hydrogen electrolysers, and producing up to 10 million tonnes of renewable hydrogen each year by 2030. However, many projects still struggle to get off the ground, and while public investment and subsidies are slowly increasingly, we are still many years away from a successful and established clean hydrogen market. The number of hydrogen projects in the pipeline is a key factor for creating this market, but more important are the contracts and offtake agreements connected with these projects. For the successful launch of a clean hydrogen economy, more and more industry end users and offtakers need to be involved from the start of the project lifecycle, as well as the strategic alignment of the entire hydrogen value chain itself. |
